About the American Craft Exposition (ACE)
Today the American Craft Exposition is one o
f the premier shows in the country—23 years ago it began as the inspired vision of a few forward- thinking women. If you are interested in joining The Auxiliary or learning more about or call (847)570-5095.

What was then a rather unusual idea for a hospital Auxiliary has grown into a showcase for the country’s finest craftsmen and a successful fundraiser for critical breast and ovarian cancer research. The juried, fine craft show now draws more than 13,000 annual attendees, was voted the top indoor show in the country by the National Association of Independent Artists and has raised $1.6 million dollars for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (ENH) breast and ovarian cancer programs and research.

Hand-crafted works in 12 media—baskets, ceramics, fiber decorative, fiber wearable, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper and wood—include one-of-a-kind pieces, museum quality art, and uniquely creative items. A highly competitive process, ACE jurying takes place each year as more than 1,000 craftsmen apply for the 152 exhibitor spaces. View Exhibitors.

The Auxiliary of ENH invites you to join us at the 23rd American Craft Exposition. Enjoy the beauty and creativity, talk with the artists who live by their craft and support promising medical research with your admission. Buy Tickets. Be among the first to appreciate the artistry and attend the Benefit Preview Party.

Due to the nature of the exposition, no strollers will be allowed.

“I felt it was an honor to
be a part of ACE, helping
to raise funds for breast
cancer research long
before I was diagnosed.
When I had breast cancer,
I received exceptional
care at ENH
from physicians who
were at the cutting edge
of clinical and scientific
expertise and
management of the
disease. I felt very
fortunate that I didn’t
have to travel away
from my community
to get great care.”
